  • the process

Alright, so you booked your appoitment, yay! But.. now what?

Click through these slides to see how to prepare, what to know, and how to keep your tooth gem protected after everything is said and done.

  • at your appointment

Consultation: First, we will go over your concerns, goals, and answer any questions you have about the process before we get started. At this time, we will also remind you of the process so that you are aware of what’s happening every step of the way.

Picking Your Gem & Placement: We’ll first have you pick a gem from our selection of clear swarsovski, which vary in size. Then, we’ll discuss what tooth you were thinking & the placement. Once we’ve gone over the game plan, it’s time for the fun part!

Application: This portion of the appointment is quick & painless. We simply prep your tooth for the gem, place it, then cure it with our UV light!

Reveal & Education: Once your gem is applied, you’ll have time to check out your shiny new addition to your smile. We’ll then go over what not to do for the next 48 hours so that your gem has time to fully cure so that it’ll last you as long as possible.

  • aftercare

Directly after your appointment, don’t touch or play with your tooth gem. Even with your tongue! We know it’s tempting, but it’s important to let it set. Your gem might also feel a little scratchy against the inside of your lip, but this sensation will go away in the next couple days. Then, you’ll hardly feel it!

For the next 2 hours, drink water only.

For the next 24 hour, try to stick to softer foods. Eating anything hard or sticky can cause your tooth gem to pop off pre-maturely.

For the next 48 hours, avoid using an electric toothbrush & be gentle around your gem when brushing.
